Scott Kulstad, MBA, MEd, ATC, executive director of musculoskeletal services, has been with Fairview for 21 of the last 24 years, with the most recent 13 years following a three-year position as a senior consultant with Deloitte. During his time with Fairview he has served in a variety of roles, with progressive advancement in scope, responsibility, and contribution. He also serves as the executive director of the Institute for Athletic Medicine (IAM), one of the community’s leading ancillary orthopedic service organizations. Scott and his family live in Prior Lake, Minnesota.

David Durenberger, MBA, joined Fairview as IAM’s senior director in April 2016. Dave brought 22 years of hospital-based and physician-based orthopedic and industry experience from Hennepin County Medical Center (HCMC) before joining IAM. While at HCMC, Dave developed trusted relationships with physicians and other stakeholders throughout the community. Dave and his family live in Excelsior, Minnesota.

Lori Glover, MHA, ATC, joined Fairview from North Memorial when the organizations created the IAM joint venture. Known for developing strong community relationships, Lori has held a variety of leadership positions within IAM, including director of community sports medicine and rehab director. Lori and her family live in Lexington, Minnesota.

Rick Mewes, PT, joined Fairview in 2004 as the supervisor and physical therapist at IAM-Edina. Recognized for his leadership, Rick became director in 2010 after earning the trust of clinicians throughout the system. A champion of care model innovation, Rick was the architect of IAM’s electronic exercise program, PTRx. Rick and his family live in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Eric Preslaski, PT, joined Fairview in 2003 as a physical therapist. Eric became the supervisor of IAM Arbor Lakes and later a director in 2012. Eric is known for his relentless pursuit of excellence, driven always by the best interests of the patient and the organization. Eric is a graduate of the Excel Leadership Development program. Eric and his family live in Woodbury, Minnesota.

Darin Thom, PT, joined Fairview in 2002 as a physical therapist at IAM-Elk River following a noble career in the U.S. Navy. He was quickly promoted to supervisor. Recognized for his leadership and commitment to excellence, Darin became director in 2012. Darin organizes the annual MS 150 bike ride for Team Fairview. He and his family live in Elk River, Minnesota.

Jeff Vrudny, MBA, PT, joined Fairview in 1997 as a rehab aide and later earned his degree in physical therapy. Jeff has worked as a staff PT, supervisor of IAM – Brooklyn Park, and became a director in 2010. Jeff earned his MBA from Bethel University and graduated from the Excel Leadership Development program. Jeff and his family live in Big Lake, Minnesota.
